4.0 out of 5 stars Tamarac womens slippers
Nice except they run short they should include half sizes for this reason.I wear a size 7 but in these slippers I really need a 7 1/2 for extra length.

2.0 out of 5 stars Are these real shearling???
Maybe someone with more expertise can speak to this, but I really don't think these are actual shearling slippers. The lining looks and feels like cheap synthetic fur - especially the part that folds over on the top. Otherwise they seem well-made, soft, comfortable, etc. Agree with other reviewers that these run small.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfy as hell, June 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
i bought these shoes 6months ago and they're doing just fine. No need to wear socks with these babies they are very very warm. The soul is good too. Ive worn these out of the house a few times, but i think these are only meant for indoors.

When i wear them outside of the house i have to watch how hard i step because i can feel the rocks under my shoes. And theres no shock absorbtion. But again these are high quality lounge shoes anyways. The stitching is tight, and the shoes DO NOT lean. (which is a plus in my book). They hug your feet just like skater sneakers. I couldnt have made better pair myself!

Not much more I can say in the review than I said in the title. I'm just very happy with my purchase and I look forward to wearing them every day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and warm, February 23, 2010

These slippers are comfortable and true to size. The sole is rubberized and slip resistant. You can wear them indoors or out. They are stylish and the bow on the top is fixed and won't come undone. The slipper is suede, well made and durable. Most of all, the sheepskin lining makes your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Pretty amazing!

When I first got these slippers, I was a bit disappointed in the seeming narrowness at the toe. My feet are much wider at the toes than at the heel. They were so comfortable otherwise, I didn't have the heart to send them back. I am SO glad I didn't. They've broken in quite nicely. They're cozy and so easy to slip into. I have a puppy that needs to go out at night sometimes, and I feel so secure walking around in the dark in these. They're very stable and don't slip off like a lot of slippers do. They look so nice, my friend said she'd wear them like regular shoes! I admit, I did wear them to the store once . . .

As I sit typing this review, my wife is wearing her new Tamarac slippers. She had looked for new slippers for months but couldn't find the right combination of comfort and appearance. While these aren't quite as chic as she'd envisioned, they more than make up for it in the comfort department. They are incredibly soft, supportive and warm. As a runner, she needs all the comfort she can get when she's not pounding the pavement, and these slippers make her feel like she could run another 10 miles when she puts them on. Perfect!

5.0 out of 5 stars I have nearly worn them out!, February 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These shoes are everything they appear to be and more. So warm you don't need socks. A great insole and support for bad arches. Nice color and very pretty for around the house. The only thing I can think of that isn't good is that they really do look more like bedroom shoes than moccasins. I have worn them out several times, but I always feel like everyone is looking at me thinking I'm wearing bedroom shoes...:-) However, I'm sure not sorry I bought them. I've worn them just about every single day since. They've held up well and haven't gotten too dirty, although the white fur isn't too white anymore...:-)

They weren't on her Christmas list, but when I saw they were 40% off and I had seen a pair of slippers in the trash, I ordered a pair. They quickly became one of her favorite gifts from me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Slippers, June 8, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I just received my new pink slippers, put them on and I love them. They are a beautiful shade of pink, comfortable, wonderful fleece, apparently well made. After reading the reviews I ordered a size up. Unfortunately, my feet are half a size different. The larger foot fits perfectly but on the other one my heel slips up and down a little bit. If I were going to be walking outside a lot, I would have to return them or wear a heavy sock. Since I'm only going to be wearing them around my small apartment, they will be fine. The size smaller would be too small for the bigger foot. I hate to wear them with socks because the whole point of having fleece lined slippers is to feel the fleece on my feet. I have no regrets.

Thanks for all the good reviews. I was afraid they would look or feel cheap, but they don't at all.
