Product Description
San-J Organic Tamari contains no wheat and has a richer, smoother, more complex taste than ordinary soy sauce. Tamari has more flavor enhancing properties than salt. Add 1 tsp. (233 mg sodium) instead of 1/4 tsp. salt (590 mg sodium) to reduce sodium intake. Stir-fry or marinate vegetables, fish, poultry and meat. Add 1-2 tsp. to perk up sauces, soups, gravies and casseroles.

Tamari soy sauce is so much better than regular soy sauce, more flavor, less salt. And since having to go wheat free, I have swiched to this gluten free version. I absolutely cannot tell the difference from tamari with wheat . This is a top shelf gluten free Tamari.

A web-wide plea to any restaurant that serves Asian cuisine of any kind: if you're going to have wheat-free soy sauce available (please! and while you're at it, maybe a gluten-free menu section?), please taste whatever it is you have on hand. I can tell you right now, if it has corn syrup in it, it tastes like motor oil. Just use wheat-free tamari; it actually tastes like soy sauce. As a picky foodie, San-J Organic Tamari is my hands-down favorite.
