Tambourine Moon,
By Eleanor Dore "Eleanor Dore, Literature Librarian" (Washington, D.C.) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Tambourine Moon (Hardcover)
Tambourine Moon is a lovely picture book, appealing both to adults and children. A perfect family story for Christmas, it captures one about a child's grandparents and how they met. The theme of light in darkness is beautifully illustrated, and it is reassuring in the telling.Thne tambourine is a special piece of magic which has a lot of appeal. Highly recommended!

This review is from: Tambourine Moon (Hardcover)
This is one of the most satisfying projects I've ever worked on. The story grew out of conversations I had with my father about his upbringing in Selma, Alabama. I want you to enjoy my book, but more importantly, I urge you to sit down and talk with your parents, your kids, other members of your family and discover their stories.
