5.0 out of 5 stars Enchanting, from start to finish!! May 17, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Tarah Scott's newest pair of mismatched aristocrats are an absolute delight!!!! Erroll is on a mission to once again remove his head from the marriage chopping block. Surprisingly enough this time he has neither compromised, nor met the lady in question who is accusing him of dastardly deeds. Unwilling to face the consequences of his falsely accused crimes, he decides to take matters in his own hands and confront the "lady" in question. Unfortunately, Erroll makes a slight miscalculation and ends up in more trouble than he bargained for.

Eve was a completely delightful character. The one thing that is consistent in all of Tarah's historicals is that the heroines are completely endearing, sassy, straight-forward, and absolutely enchanting. She takes the best loved traits out of this generation of strong women, blends them with believable historical accuracy, and this results in the perfect recipe for a show-stopping new generation historical romance! Eve was my favorite character, but I must confess that her father was a close second..lol. It is quite obvious where Eve got her personality from.

This book was a complete enchantment from start to finish. I loved the characters, the plot, the humor, and every little detail in between. The journey that ends in a fascinating dynamic between Eve and Erroll is one you do not not want to miss!!! I highly recommend this read to historical lovers everywhere!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sexy sexy sexy May 28, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Tarah Scott writes amazingly sexy stories with Highland Hotties (sigh). I love her stories, this one especially got me from page one till the end, I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Her characters are amazingly created especially Erroll, he's not only sexy as hell, but he's sweet and arrogant ...lol..and he hates being forced into marriage . Love Eve she is headstrong and stubborn but also refuses to marry without love. These two together are hot as hell, and so much more. This book has it all; intrigue, mystery, love, sadness and humor. I couldn't wait to see what happens next with these two. Love their first meeting, he mistakes his soon to be bride with her sister and she well ..pulls a gun on him...lol..great story, twist and turns in the plot make this story very interesting, amazing characters and love a HEA. 4.5 stars . Can't wait to read more by Tarah Scott review by Nanee at upallnightreadallday.blogspot.com

5.0 out of 5 stars Captivating page turner October 13, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I enjoyed this book from the first line “If ever a woman deserved to be shot, it was Miss Crenshaw” until the very end. There are well rounded characters in this beautifully crafted story and it's pacey, sexy and well written.

Against a backdrop of Scottish/English loathing at the beginning of the 19th century, where challenges were issued and duels fought as a means to uphold honour, Erroll, handsome cad and womaniser and Eve, sensible eldest daughter, yet determined to marry for love, are thrown together and forced to extricate themselves from a complicated tangle of kidnapping, well meaning parents and scheming paramours.

Really enjoyed this story so it's a 5* read from me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! May 16, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Tarah Scott has once again written a beautiful Highland love story with all the wonderful writing and dramatic flair that readers have and will fall in love with. With every single book she writes, this one included, I find myself magnetically drawn to the story and the characters. Everything about this story will captivate you, and leave you breathless. The story has something for everyone! Romance, scandal, action, a sexy earl, and a feisty young woman who refuses to marry for any reason but love. It was amazing to watch love conquer lust and a womanizing Earl fall head over heels for a woman.

To Tame a Highland Earl is the alluring story of Errol, Eve, and Grace. There is a great and amusing cast of characters throughout the novel. The plot is like an epic ping pong match between the two sisters and the Earl. As always, the pacing flows perfectly from start to finish. When Errol finally realizes he has lost his heart to Eve the reader cannot help but fall in love with them. I loved how the story is split between England and Scotland. It is refreshing for a Highland novel! The ending was a beautiful conclusion to a wonderful tale. I am definitely excited to read more from Tarah and this series!

For lovers of Karen Marie Moning and Monica McCarty's Highlanders, I encourage you to pick up one of Tarah Scott's novels! They are just as magical and amazing reads!

5.0 out of 5 stars I love the blue dress October 23, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Well now. The cover alone had me interested. I love the blue dress, the attention to detail. In a shop this book would have gotten my attention based on the cover alone. Then I started the story and found myself hooked within the first paragraph. The rest of the story did not disappoint. The story is a good old fashioned romance. I loved to take a break from my normal reading by reading this book and trust me, the 5 * rating is well deserved. WaAr rrg

4.0 out of 5 stars Unique October 10, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Very interesting and unique story line about a young woman who is promised and set to wed a man she doesn't know. We follow their story from the time they met to the time they wed. Let's just say it's not your typical love story. The author did an amazing job keeping you in the story line. It does contain romance, action and lots of adventure. Overall great story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Too much dialog
I couldn't make it through it. Too much blabber and not enough character development and passion. It has potential if the blabber were cut out and the characters were developed.

The Scrolls of Cridhe, Volume 1 Highland Winds

The Legend...

Long, long ago, in the time before time, seven sisters were called from the far reaches of the realm. Each brought unique talents, but had one common gift; the ability to weave ageless tales of love and courage. An evil witch coveted their gifts and locked them in a tower, silencing their voices upon threat of death. But the Highlands are enchanted, and magic will not countenance seven pure hearts such as theirs to be lost.

With no one else to hear them, they sang their stories to each other. Fate blew a braw Highland wind to their prison, and the sweet, high timbre of the sisters' voices enthralled it. The wind gathered close their silver words as it raced past each day, and carried their love and goodness throughout the world...then across the ages.

Today, their words live on in the Guardians of the Cridhe, seven sisters who have sworn to preserve those pure and musical hearts so long as they live. It is said these seven descend from those ancient female bards. Only their words can bear witness to that truth...
