Theresa Ragan grew up in Lafayette, California, as number four of five sisters. She is happily married and has four children. After reading her first romance, she knew exactly what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. When the kids were small, she wrote early in the morning, late at night, and in the car while waiting for the kids to get out of school. Nineteen years later, in 2011, Theresa self-published her very first novel, Return of the Rose. Since that time she has released a total of seven novels and recently signed her first publishing contract with Thomas and Mercer. "The best part of being published," Theresa insists, "is hearing from readers."

More About the Author

Theresa didn't know she wanted to be a writer until she read Jude Deveraux's A Knight in Shining Armor in 1992. She spent the next five years researching medieval times and writing Return of the Rose. She was also working full time and raising four children, but she knew she was a writer when nothing could stop her from getting the words to the page.

Theresa has garnered six Golden Heart nominations in Romance Writers of America's prestigious Golden Heart Competition for her work. She lives with her husband Joe and the youngest of her four children in Sacramento, California.

Theresa writes medieval time travels, romantic comedy, romantic suspense, and in 2011 she released her first two romantic thrillers, ABDUCTED and DEAD WEIGHT by T.R. Ragan.
