In the classic telling of Shakespeare's story, Taylor and Burton are dynamic. Burton plays a down and out noble who needs to find a rich wife--quickly. Taylor is the ill-tempered, older daughter of one of the wealthiest men in the city. Sparks and tempers ignite when these two mismatched lovers meet. Even non-Shakespearean lovers will enjoy this comic telling of the war of the sexes.
