4.0 out of 5 stars Good romance, June 8, 2011
This review is from: Taming A Tycoon (Kindle Edition)
Savannah Seabrooke is a reporter who needs to confirm a rumor about Dexter Caine's love life in order to complete her otherwise perfect piece. As a free-lance journalist, selling this article means paying her rent. In a classic mix up, Caine's employees assume that she's a (non-sexual) escort for Caine's trip to Las Vegas. Seabrooke goes along with it, hoping that she'll get her story, but Caine turns the tables and announces that they're to be married. The typical angst for a romance follows, especially as Seabrooke has a secret that she can't let Caine discover.

All in all, Taming a Tycoon is a fun romance read. It doesn't take too long, and it has enough of the wonderful "Does he love me? I can't let him know I love him." power dynamics that people claim to hate in their real life relationships but secretly love in their romance novels. It doesn't go over the top, though. I didn't find myself too frustrated with any character idiocy, which is pretty commonplace for other novels.

I would recommend this, and I'll be looking up other Leigh Michaels books.
