5.0 out of 5 stars Quality model with excellent authenticity.
This is part of a series of 1/35 models from Tamiya. The plastic is very tough, enabling precision cutting and proper handling of even the tiniest components, which is a good thing because there are many tiny components here, giving a satisfyingly detailed and authentic feel.

There have been some complaints on this forum. I must emphasize that this is not a toy...

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars It does give you the impression
I think if your a novice model builder the Tamiya model sets aren't for you. You really have to spend the time, effort and the money to complete the set with gluing, getting brushes and getting paint that if your very anal when it comes to detail. Gluing each piece takes alot of time and patients and if you don't have it then don't get these model sets. I have to agree...

There have been some complaints on this forum. I must emphasize that this is not a toy for kids. Instead, it is a plastic model for hobbyists. Tamiya is among the best in the trade, and the "green color cheap plastic" is famous for its toughness. Building, gluing and painting them is exactly the fun activity intelligent people pay good money for. Giving it one star is akin to whining about the steak tartare you ordered being undercooked.

This item is for MODELERS to build. I collect unbuilt models. I have been overall VERY happy with the brand "TAMIYA" and will continue to purchase. I would recommend to new modelers that this is a good purchase. Hope this has helped you.

I have to agree with the some of the posters on here that did give negative reviews, The pictures on the box do give the impression you don't have to glue these little figures pieces together and they do make the models look bigger. So you expecting each model figure to be about five inches. All and all I like this set.
