Tamiya is releasing a 1/24 scale model kit of the Team Phoenix version of the Opel Astra V8 Coupe that's competing in the highly popular DTM (German Touring Masters). The model accurately replicates the race version of the coupe which houses a powerful 462hp outputting, 4 liter V8 engine and 6 speed transmission. The model replicates the car's body-side air intakes and "gull-wing" style doors that can be opened or closed even after assembly via metal hinges. The front arms and rear lower arms are molded to the undercover for easy assembly.
