Here is a great kit from Tamiya of the IS-3 (or JS-3 in English). IS-3 is the Soviet designation. This kit was AWESOME to build. Kit went together quickly and there was no fit problems. Think I build this kit is less than 3 hours - it went together that quickly. Total parts count was less than 100. Only problem that I had was fitting the extra fuel tanks to the rear - there is a part that is installed that actually helps lock the fuel tanks into location. I did not pay attention to the parts and placed model off to one side to allow things to dry. Came back later to add the fuel tanks and that is when I discovered my mistake. Suggest adding the fuel tanks immediately after place those locking tab thingies. Other than my own "oops", kit practically built itself. I added an after-market gun barrel. There are a few smaller pieces, mainly habd rails around the turret. Though this is a larger kit of a Soviet tank, younger people should have no problems building this. Parts count is low, rugged construction, and quick build. There is one crew member figure provided and markings for Soviet and Egyption vehicles. Remember that this is a PLASTIC MODEL KIT - ASSEMBLY is required. Paint/glue sold separately.
