4.0 out of 5 stars 5 stars if the entire package consisted of "lites", June 19, 2004

I used these as a young teen and wished desperately for them through the past 30 years of monthly periods. I finally found a box of lites from Canada in a dollar store near me and bought out the supply. Kind of like Elaine and her sponge, they are absolutely perfect for me. I'm perimenopausal, now, but I've always had a tipped uterus and found that Junior Tampax (or "lites", as they are now called) were the only tampons that were comfortable, that would slide in at the angle they needed to. They discontinued them and I went years without tampon protection. No swimming, no riding, nothing but bulky pads. Now my periods are slowing down and getting lighter, I find the lites are being manufactured again and are perfect for me. I have a friend in Canada who sends me boxes of lites, I send her boxes of supers, so we both win, engaging in our own bit of cross-border trade.

I live in Cincinnati, home of Proctor and Gamble and Tampax...is there anyone out there listening? You have two markets who really need this absorbency - the young teen and the menopausual. Cater to us, please. My daughters found it so difficult to go straight into regular Tampax use, they were too big, so I'm glad you're making these available to teens, but you need to stress the light absorbency and smaller size factors, that it can appeal to any age, particularly teens and those nearing menopause, who may also have a light flow.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for First Timers! Very smooth, April 6, 2004
This review is from: Tampax Satin Teen Tampons, Multipax, 36 tampons (Health and Beauty)
These have to be the best. I am a novice user but I have tried slim plastic by Playtex and Compak. These are slimmer than the Compak and as easy to use as the plastic. They are flushable, which is great and they never leak. My only problem is that the cover is not as strong (but also flushable) and I wish that there were more lites. There is another multi pack available that has more lites and slender regulars but Amazon does not carry it. Just buy a case (Radius or Vinnies Tampon case) to keep them protected. These are the way to go! Incredible comfort!!
