The upside: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 fits perfectly into this bag (lens hood not attached). The bag adds minimally to the dimensions of the camera. You can put the hood with the hood adapter upside down on the bottom of the bag and the camera still fits in perfectly (the camera lens goes into the wide side of the hood).
I'm giving the exact dimensions of FZ28 to help you judge if this bag would be good for your particular camera: the length is 4.25" including the lens cap and the viewfinder eyepiece (the latter protrudes 3/8" behind the back wall of the camera); the width is 4.5" (not including the tiny strap eyelets); the height is 3" almost exactly.
The downsides: Side pockets are too tight to hold almost anything except for a SD card in a tiny protective case it usually comes in. I think it's a design flaw. The FZ28 battery measuring 1.75"x1.375"x0.75" fits in a pocket only with certain effort and since the pocket is too tight it bulges inside the bag. As a result, the camera already would not fit in as comfortably (especially with the hood inside). Besides, you would not be able to take the battery out of the pocket while the camera is in the bag. Of course there is no room for a charger and other accessories.
The shoulder strap has no padding and is made out of rather coarse woven nylon. When you wear the bag on your shoulder make sure it does not rub against your skin - it might irritate or chafe it.
Tamrac has a compatibility chart where one can find recommended Tamrac bags for most of popular digital cameras. I could not put the URL here, but go to tamrac site and you'll easily find the "Digital Camera Fit Chart". Ironically, 33xx (Aero Zoom) series bags are not listed there (may be because they are "new").

I got a new Panasonic super zoom camera (Lumix DMC-FZ35 - Great!) and needed a case for it. The camera's an odd size - not as big as a DSLR but considerably bigger than a point-and-shoot. This Tamrac 3320 case is a perfect fit. The camera will fit with the lens pointing downward but I find it is more convenient with the lens pointing to the side so that the "handle" end of the camera is at the top and can be grabbed easily. There are two small exterior pockets (one on each side) that can hold thin items - I keep a filter in one and the lens cap in the other. There is no room for extras such as batteries and other supplies so if you feel the need for lots of additional gear, a roomier bag might be better. For me, this is the perfect bag and even has a wide, sturdy belt loop.

The Tamrac 3320 is a great case if what you are looking for is a compact, highly-portable, and take-only-what-is-necessary camera case. If you own a Panasonic DMC FZ35, yes, you won't be able to fit all your cables, battery charger and other bulky accessories. Get over it, this is not your camera luggage. This is something you would perfectly use on a hike, or on a walk in the city where honestly, there is no need to carry your AV cables or your camera charger (unless the forest you are hiking on has power outlets in every other tree ;-). Needless to say, the main criteria to select this product was PORTABILITY during a hike or during a flight, where you know what you are going to see and can prepare in advance.

Anyhow, as it comes and with some creativity, in the main pouch I am able to fit an FZ35 with a UV filter on, the lens cap (on), the lens hood (detached and flipped around), an 8 GB class 6 memory stick (in the camera), the camera shoulder strap, and a small rag to protect the lcd from possible scratches by the strap. On the side pockets, I fit on one side an extra battery but I am sure 2 or 3 memory sticks would fit as well with the battery, and on the other pocket, I can fit the hood adapter and the usb cable. So there you go, camera, lens cap, hood, strap, extra battery, 2 or 3 extra memory sticks, hood adapter and USB cable. Everything you need for portability without bulkiness.

If you are on a trip and need to carry your AV cables, or your charger, just put those with the rest of your electronics. The batteries on an FZ35 need about 2 hours to charge so you might as well go back to your hotel or to a place where you can rest to do it.

I bought this for a Panasonic Lumix FZ35 camera. It works very well. Very nice case.

For my purposes, this has been a great case. If you're looking to carry a lot of accessories, this won't be the case for you. But, if you're like, me, and you just want to carry a camera like the Panasonic Lumix FZXX series and a couple of filters, then you will find that this case is quite perfect. Let me also mention that I own an Olympus E420 DSLR camera and that this case easily holds that camera with the Zuiko 14-42mm zoom lens attached, and a CPL filter in the side pocket! No giant goofy stuff for me, thank you. It should also be noted that this case is constructed of a nice rugged nylon material, very durable.

This case is a perfect fit for the Lumix GF2 with the 14-42 lens mounted. The case is high quality but not large and bulky. Has two pockets on the sides good for extra battery and sd card.

Lightweight and Cheap... Fits my Lumix FZ-1000 plus the usb cable and a spare filter. Nothing else though. Just what I wanted.

I was looking for a case to hold my new Canon SX30is on my belt. The compartments on the sides are very tight, but will hold an SD card or two, but not an extra battery. The SX30 just fits snugly. Construction and material quality are good.

This item was offered as used, but when it arrived it was new but out of a box.

The case is well made and uses two zippers on top, so you can start from anywhere. Fit is pretty exact for the fz35, with enough extra room to put the camera strap in too. The two little velcro side flaps ... you could put in an extra SD card but probably not an extra battery, until the case loosens up a bit. I put the camera in sideways. A nice feature is the belt loop on the back, so you don't have to sling it over your shoulder. Lots of padding, and the case seems to be very well made.

If you are looking for a case that is just the right size for the camera with no extra space this is the one to buy. I wanted something as small as possible for compact travel and this was perfect. The quality is good and there is a belt loop and strap for varying carrying options. The side cases are small, but could fit lens cloths and/or extra memory.
