5.0 out of 5 stars Very Handy
Best quality for the best price. Great value overall. Right now I've got a Pentax K1000, Vivitar 283 flash, 19-35 mm wide angle lens, 135 mm lens, 50 mm lens, and fifteen filters in this bag.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too Small for Nikon D70s
Great bag, but be careful of the PUBLISHED inside dimensions. Manufacturer lists inside dimensions as 7 1/2"w x 5"d x 8"h. Sounded perfect for my D70s, but lo and behold - the camera did not fit very well. Some problems:

- Camera is actualy about 4 1/2" wide; bag REALLY measures 4" wide at the corners. The published 5" is acheived by distorting the bag out...

3.0 out of 5 stars Too Small for Nikon D70s, May 11, 2006
This review is from: Tamrac 5202 Photo Explorer 2 - Photo/Digital Camera Bag (Blue) (Electronics)

The published 5" is acheived by distorting the bag out of shape. It was so snug, the hot shoe kept getting hung up on the zipper hem around the top perimeter of the bag.

- Inside height REALLY measures closer to 7 1/2". Still sounds tall enough for the D70s with lens attached. However, the internal dividers (non-adjustable, vertically) measure 6" tall. By teh time you add the camera body on top, you're up to about 8 1/2" - TOO tall for the bag to close properly.

- I tried reconfiguring the internal dividers to try to get the camera to fit SOMEHOW, to no avail. The problem is that the dividers have only small velcro tabs, and the interior of the bag is NOT fully lined with the soft fleece-like material. It only has two narrow horizontal strips, pre-positioned to align with the tabs on the dividers. There are no provisions for vertical adjustment of the dividers, or to permit the dividers to be rotated to a horizontal position. Just not a whole lot of flexibility, especially if you're trying to get your camera to fit properly.

Outside pockets are nice; bag is built well, nice fit-and-finish. Just some truth in advertising regarding the TRUE inside dimensions of the bag, and full interior lining would be in order.

If you're looking for a bag for your D70s (plus an extra lens, flash, etc.), try the Lowepro "Mini Mag AW" or the "Rezo 170 AW."

4.0 out of 5 stars Photo Exploror 2, perfect for taking just the essentials, June 27, 2007
I bought this bag to carry my Nikon D200 while hiking. The camera, sunshade, Sunpack flash and lens hood plus battery and charger just fit. The bag is lightweight and easy to get the camera in and out of.

Got this camera bag for a gift, since I like the one I already own. They've added some new pockets, etc. and it's great. Seems to hold everything our friend needs to carry.
