5.0 out of 5 stars Does everything advertised.
Has a separate zip and clip opening top, which makes for rapid use without zipping, with a flap to keep the rain out, and is very well made.

3.0 out of 5 stars well made
This camera bag is very well made and has a lot of padding. Your camera would be safe in here. Unfortunately, my lense (the regular lense) is almost too big to fit in here. I really have to pack the camera in. I had to go out and get a bag that would hold everything including my bigger lenses.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fits Nikon D90 + 18-105mm lens, March 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This bag does exactly what I want it to do. It just barely fits my Nikon D90 w/18-105mm lens, with just enough room for the kit strap inside the case. I bought it to hold the D90 with the 35mm prime lens when I don't want to carry a bigger bag. With the 18-105, I'll have to be a bit more careful, since I can feel it against the bottom of the bag, but there's a bit of space between the 35mm and the bottom. Any "entry level" DSLR should fit without problem with a small zoom lens. The D90 would not fit with anything bigger, such as the 18-200mm zoom. The Tamrac 5683 is better padded than the Lowepro Rezo TLZ 10, but only slightly larger. It's a great walkaround camera case. I rated only four stars because I haven't used it, but hope to provide an update.

This review is from: Tamrac 5683 Digital Series Zoom Pack for SLRs (Black) (Electronics)
This bag is just the right size! It fits our Cannon EOS Rebel XSI perfectly and has just the right amount of space to carry any little extras.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits my T2i with Tamron 18-270 perfectly, December 10, 2011
The 5683 fits my Canon Rebel T2i with the Tamron 18-270mm lens (62mm diameter piezo drive version). I have the canon strap on it, and I can fold the strap into the case and zip it closed. It's a good, solid feeling fit with or without the strap inside the pouch. Their website says it fit's a rebel with a 3.5" lens, but my Tamron is a 4" lens and it fits perfectly.

I like this case because I can leave the camera's strap hanging out the sides and close the buckle, then use the camera's strap to carry the whole thing around. I can leave the strap around my neck, then unbuckle and lose the case quickly when it's time for a shot

Also fits a spare battery and the shutter remote in the front pocket.

Seems very well built. The zippers are smooth and the nylon casing is high quality. It's well padded. A little more expensive than the other holsters out there, but I think it's worth it.

It's a very compact case which is another main reason I bought it. Going to stick it in the wife's big purse when we're out and about on vacation. We did a test fit, and I was surprised, it actually looks small in there!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great case for digital SLR and normal or compact zoom lens, November 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this case for my Pentax K-X SLR and it fits great with the standard 18-55mm zoom, and also several of my other longer lenses including a tamaron 28-200 zoom. It has the external pouch to hold extra batteries, memory cards, and your lens cap when you are shooting. It's made of rugged nylon, and has good protection for the camera. Much sturdier case than Pentax used to include with cameras like my K-10, or older film SLRs. I Have a large back-pack type case for multiple cameras, ormultiple lenses, but sometimes you just want to take the camera and a single lens, and want to make sure its protected. If so, this is your case.

I left the case in a restaraunt one day, and it was never turned in, so that gives you an idea that other people think its a good case too. I bought the exact case to replace it, but had to go with black as Icould not find it in blue at the time. Obviously I would buy it again if given the opportunity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Fit for Lumix FZ35, June 7, 2010
I recently purchased the Lumix FZ35, and this bag fits like a glove with or without the lens-hood attached. Since the FZ35 is primarily a fixed lens camera, there is room to carry all of the necessary accessories in this bag; extra battery, SD card, filters, and cloth. I am not familiar with the conversion lenses for the FZ35 or the adapter, but judging from the pictures that I have seen, there is enough room in the pockets for the lens adapter, and the close-up lens; there is not enough room for the telephoto lens AND the lens-hood.

Pros
Shoulder strap, handle, and belt loops for multiple carrying option.
Water resistant.
Perfect size for the Lumix FZ35, and the necessary accessories.
Quality build.

Cons
None that I can see...one could argue that it's space is limited, but this case was not intended for cameras that need a lot of space.

This is a nice, water-resistant padded carry case for many SLR Cameras with standard lenses.

I like a different model from Tamrac which is a little longer (for longer lenses) which also has side pockets on it. Both have space for Compact Flash cards in the front and one more small area to store in the lid. The next size up has side pockets which allow the user to store spare batteries, lens cleaners, usb cables, filters, even battery chargers.

This unit is nice, but only for someone who wants to carry the bare minimum. I am a boy scout; Meaning I like to carry more. This unit does not work for me.

I wish I knew the model # of the product from Tamrac I like. It may likely be the next up model in this line.
