So far, everyone who's seen me carrying this bag around has raved over it. The FujiFilm S5000 that just came out fits into this bag fairly snugly (with the inside divider removed), and I put it in this bag sideways, so the camera's grip is accessible from the top of the bag. There is plenty of room for AA batteries (2 extra sets of 4), XD Picture Cards (just about as many as you'd want to carry around), and other small items. I'd like to see additional side pouches added, a place for my checkbook and credit cards, and someplace to put my sunglasses case... if it had all that, I'd throw away my purse.

I called Tamrac and asked which of their camera bags would the Canon SX20 IS would fit into. Tamrac told me this bag would hold the SX20 IS, so I ordered this bag. The camera just barely fits into the bag and I cannot get the hood into the bag. Camera is difficult to get into and out of the bag. Also the pockets for the 4-AA batteries are very cramped and difficult to get into. While the bag somewhat works, the bag is a bit too small for this size camera. I would not recommend this bag for this size of camera.

Bought this to protect my Dimage Z6. LOVE IT. although its not exactly designed the way I have it configured I keep the following in it snugly but without buldging.

and some usable storage available in front pocket for something the size of a 3.5 floppy or less with more thickness

The velcro on the front in addition to the buckle is a life saver.

Had it for a year take it everywhere. Very durable. Highly recommend.

I bought this for Panasonic FZ20 as per the documents on the Tamrac site and this bag fits great. I keep my camera holstered with the lens down and the divider thing is on the bottom of the case. The camera fits even if you keep it of he side but it bothers me as it looks weird. Anyway there is plenty of space and the camera fits in even with a permaraal adapter on ( you have to remove the divider in that case ). There are plenty of pockets and I can even carry the battery charger with an extra battery in the front pocket. The velcro + clip closing mechanism is great. You can put the camera in the case and close the lid using just the velcro because you need your hands free for just a minute. The vecro does good enough job of keeping the lid closed.

The protection that this case offers is amazing. I carried my camera in my check in luggage on a recent trip to Europe and it was perfectly fine. There aren't many other cases that I would trust to do that.

The only complain that I have is that the strap could have been made more comfortable.

All things considered, this is a great buy for around $20.

I just got my Tamrac 5696 last week and I am very happy. I had read where the Panasonic FZ35 would not fit in this case with the lens hood on, but it does. It is a tight fit, but nothing that would cause any harm to the camera or the case. Very rugged, well built. My case is the black one, very understated and classy looking. 5 stars for a well made product!

I've had a variety of Tamrac bags for the last 20 years. This is another in a great series of bags.

I found this digital camera bag to be good quality at a good price. My only "complaint" would be that I find it a little difficult to open/close as it has both velcro closure and a latch. I'd prefer one or the other instead of both. That said, I'm very pleased with the bag - it's durable, has compartments for batteries and memory cards, and it's compact/lightweight.
