Product Description

Tamrac's CyberPacks combine a laptop, digital and film SLR equipment, and accessories in one convenient, easy-to-carry backpack. To protect equipment, the CyberPacks are completely padded with thick, closed-cell foam and have foam-padded plastic platforms in the bottom of the shock protection. The CyberPack 6 (this model) accommodates 15" laptops while the CyberPak 8 accommodates more gear and a 17" laptop. Inside the main compartment, adjustable, internal dividers canbe customized to fit camera bodies, an array of lenses and other accessories. A separate, completely foam-padded compartment provides quick access to a laptop without disturbing photo gear. The CyberPack 6 combines a laptop, digital and film SLR equipment, and accessories in one convenient, easy-to-carry backpack. More compact than the CyberPack 8, the CyberPack 6 still has plenty of space to accommodate two pro-sized digital and film SLR cameras, many lenses, including a f/2.8-200mm lens and a couple of strobes. Most 15" laptops, including Apple's 15" PowerBook G4, up to 11" x 2" x 15" are protected in a separate, completely foam-padded compartment. A thickly padded shoulder harness, hip belt and sternum strap distribute the weight for carrying comfort. In front, Tamrac's QuickClip tripod attachment system secures most professional tripods . This CyberPack is compatible with the (M.A.S) Modular Accessory System. The Modular Accessory System (M.A.S.) offers a

4.0 out of 5 stars One Bag For All Your Needs -- ALMOST, August 24, 2006
This review is from: Tamrac 5256 CyberPack 6 Photo / Computer Backpack, for 15" Laptops, Black (Electronics)
The photos on Amazon don't really give you an idea just how big a bag this is. I've got all my camera gear in there, five lenses, one Canon Digital Rebel, flash, and, in addition to my laptop, I also lug around a 300 GB external hard drive. As you might imagine, this thing gets a bit heafty to carry (not something you'd want on your back while hiking), and despite all the space to accommodate so much equipment, I still had to purchase some attachments for the one thing I think they didn't plan for when designing this bag -- power cords for your laptop. The laptop compartment is just big enough to squeeze in your laptop -- and that's it. As for protection, the bag is well padded and my camera, lenses, laptop, etc. all seem very secure. This is my second Tamrac bag, replacing a 20-year-old over-the-shoulder pro model, so I know Tamrac bags are durable, hold up to snow and rain, and keep your expensive equipment safe. Finally, I definitely like the backpack design.

This review is from: Tamrac 5256 CyberPack 6 Photo / Computer Backpack, for 15" Laptops, Black (Electronics)
Very usuable, comftrable to carry (using both straps).
Holds a lot of items without any problem, solved all my packing problems (I use this bag daily).

5.0 out of 5 stars Tamrac Cyberpack 6, April 8, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Tamrac 5256 CyberPack 6 Photo / Computer Backpack, for 15" Laptops, Black (Electronics)
This pack is filled with lots of room for the person who has three or four lenses and a couple of DSLR bodies. The bag it well built with plenty of support for carrying as a pack. I go it mainly for a carry-on and it looks like it will do the job very well.
