Filter does very well filtering UV and give very sharp photos. Highly recomend to keep on your lens at all times. Its MUCH cheaper to replave a UV filter then to get you lens fixed.

The added warmth from this filter is insignificant -- which is fine with me. All I needed was a clean, clear glass shield to help protect my lens, and this filter provided that.
