This is my go to all around lens. I take it everywhere I go. it takes incredible pictures. Low light is no problem. It makes for a very good portrait lens as well. It is a heavy lens. That's ok with me. I must be old school. the weight makes me think and feel that I have something of quality in my hands; and with this lens you do. If you can find one it is a major step up from your kit lens...
