This review is from: Tan Lines: Sand, Surf, and Secrets; Rays, Romance, and Rivalry; Beaches, Boys, and Betrayal (Summer) (Paperback)
Summer's back for a second summer vacation in the Florida Keys.

She's just graduated from high school and she's back to chill with Diana, her cousin, and Marquez, her best friend. Unlike last summer, Seth won't be there. Instead, her new fiancé will be on the West Coast for an internship.

When an old fling shows up, Summer must figure out her heart and where her loyalty lies before things spin out of control. Diana is hiding a secret crush on Seth and, if Summer's not careful, Diana could ruin her cousin's relationship. Marquez is dating Summer's brother, but she's also going through a downward spiral.

Can the three girls survive the roller coaster summer without destroying their friendship?

TAN LINES follows up BEACH BLONDES and is perfect for readers craving romance, sun, friendship, and drama.

I read Beach Blondes and liked the characters a lot. I knew I had to read Tan Lines after that. I was hooked! This was far better than Beach Blondes was! There's was more drama and betrayal which makes is far more fun to read =) . I'm a little sad that there isnt more. There's a big unanswered thing in the end and we never do get to see it resolved. I dont know if Katherine Applegate is ever going to continue the story with these characters. I sure hope she does!
