Directions: Tantowel works best on clean, DRY skin. Open foil and remove towelette. Wipe towelette over the area to be tanned, just like washing yourself. Continue applying to the area until the towelette is dry. Remember, you cannot go over an area too much, but if you miss an area no color will develop. WASH HANDS IMMEDIATELY. You can dress as soon as Tantowel is dry to the touch (approximately 1 minute). Color will develop over about 3-4 hours (do not wet the skin in any way during this time - this includes moisturizers, make-up, swimming, bathing, etc.). After the 3-4 hour developing time, you can reapply for a deeper color. A Tantowel tan generally last about 4-7 days. Reapply as necessary. For optimal results, exfoliate before application.
It generally takes 2-3 towelettes to cover the body.
Tantowel can be applied to the face but, as with any cosmetic, use caution around the eye area.
Tantowel contains no stains or dyes so you will not see any immediate color. The only way any discoloration will appear is if you miss a spot, so be thorough in your application.
When applying Tantowel, start with larger body parts and end with hands and feet.
To tan the backs of your hands: Have a wet, soapy washcloth prepared before you apply Tantowel. When finished with your application, rub your palms on the wet, soapy washcloth and then dry on a clean towel. Another option is to apply Tantowel while wearing gloves and apply to the backs of your hands last.

I'm very fair skinned (reddish-blond hair, blue eyes...), so tanning is not really an option for me. This product really works for me. The first time I tried it was after getting a sample with some other order that I placed. It sat in my drawer for about a year and I finally pulled it out one day and tried it. I was amazed at how well it works, and the best part is that you don't have to exfoliate first! It is the best no-hassle product I have ever used. I've tried other tanning lotions, sprays, foams, etc., but those just don't seem to work as well or a simply as this one. I'm sold! Its a bit pricey, but for me, during the summer months when I want to show some skin, its well worth the cost.

I have used many tanning products in the past and have never found one that I was happy with. Most are a pain to apply and have stong smells, but I didn't find either one of those problems with the Tan Towel. I love them. They are so fast to apply and you can get dressed immediately once you apply them. I have had no staining of my clothes while using them. I am deffinitely a fan and will continue to use.

I am pleased with the TanTowels. They gave me enough of a tan on my legs that I was comfortable going out in shorts or skirts!
