The lamb is tender and spiced like a true "Vindaloo", which is quite spicy. Strange thing I discovered--if I eat the food warm and not piping-hot, then the spice level is "medium to hot." If you heat it according to instructions, then you'll get a habanero-like hotness. There are about 3-4 chunks of lamb in each meal (perhaps 3-4 ounces' worth), so it's more of a lunch-sized portion at under 400 calories. It is delicious, and I have not had any better at Indian restaurants.
