A Definite Must Own for the TP Newbie,

I'll be honest with you, if you own all of their discs already it's a no brainer that at this point in the game, Tea Party has no business with a "Best-Of" album (let alone the plethora of re-mix type albums this band has already done) and you may as well stay clear of it because...well you have all that matters already! On the other hand, Tea Party in my opinion is one of the best out there and the disc is a must-have, especially if you haven't already checked them out. YOU MUST! Tea Party has some of the most unique, musically sound and innovative works that you'll hear in this genre, and I highly recommend this album as a "Get to know 'em, you'll love 'em disc", as it pulls some of their all time greatest and puts into a wonderful compilation cd. You simply must check out "Splendor Solis" if you haven't already though, as they have some of the best instrumental work to be heard in a long time!

Sure some might think this is alittle early in the game for this Canadian trio to be releasing a greatest hits package. Considering they only have four albums under thier belt and one maxi single. But they defiently have had enough great songs. And I don't think all of them made it on here.(Maybe it's based on actual hits from the canadian charts) Especialy songs like "Angles"and"lullabye" from their newest album "interzone mantra"that was released after this colection. And thier up coming-sure to be another original masterpiece-album later this year(2004). But what makes this a collectin worth getting is the previously unrelease "Walking wounded".A very well writen song for anybody thats been hurt And wants to ask "how does it feel baby now" Then theirs the last three songs which are covers. "waiting on a sign"A mellow love song telling a girl to make up her mind.I don't know who did the original but thier version is Then their version of "paint it black" by the rollin stones. I love the Tea partys sound, writing style, and the way they experiance. That you won't find anywhere else.
