Very nice, heavy duty cables.

I`m happy to say that i have NOT had to use the booster cables yet, however they appear to be of good quality and I`m sure that they will work fine when needed !!!
GERALD DIMAIO
They also came in a nice zipper case to keep them clean.

I think the manufacturer got a little carried away in the naming of this product. These are definately heavy duty cables, but I'd reserve the term "super" for 4-guage cables.

I wanted to wait to review these until I had a chance to use them, which I just did. The cables performed, well like cables do. They just sat there in transfered current. It was amazing.

On a serious note, I feel these are really good cables at a great price. For starters, at the same price you'd get 8-guage, if not 10-guage from Wal-Mart. For those unfamiliar with current, amps, guages and the like, I'll elaborate. Unlike most units of measure, the smaller the number of guage, the thicker (bigger) it is. It seems that guages in booster cables range from 4-10 (10 being the smallest). The larger the guage, the more power it can handle. So, who cares? Well, if you're driving a Honda Civic vs a Hummer, it's going to make a huge difference. Case in point. Where I work we have a V8 pickup truck. A car needed a jump and one of the guys had a set of 10-guage booster cables. He hooked them up to both cars, and within a few seconds (and quicker than he could remove the cables) they cooked straight thru the wire and melted the plastic, and the wires dropped to the ground, minus the connectors. That's what you get from a V8 engine with 10-guage cables trying to jump start a car. Now, if it was two compact cars, probably not an issue. However, can you be assured that if you become stranded on the side of the road in a compact car, that another compact car is going to stop? If you have a V6 or V8 engine, I wouldn't go with less than 6-guage.

As for the product itself, I can't complain. Plenty of length to the cables and the connectors have a thick coat of paint on them.

These cables are fine... well made... arrived shown just like the picture... however, you generally get what you pay for.... they are NOT solid copper... they are copper cladded aluminum.... took a knife and scraped the ends.. and waa laa... nice and shiny silver underneath... was hoping I had found some solid copper cables for less than $20, but not so... oh well... they'll work fine for a small vehicle

I'm rewriting my review based on having to use them last night during a snowstorm. The clamps didn't open wide enough, nor grip well. Kept popping off when there was any strain on the cable. Spend a few bucks more for better cables that are longer. 12 feet was too short when the batteries were on oposite sides.

What can I say besides the price was right and the picture was showed exactly what I received. The Jaws seem to be of good quality, and they are set for both side and top terminal batteries. I bought these for my wife's new car. I hope she doesn't have to use them.

The cable is very good and does the job at a fair price.
Solid connections and indeed no tangle whatsoever

I was very surprised when I got the cables, as for the price, I did not expect them to be as good as they are. The wire really is 6 amp wire. some manufacture will tell you the cable is 6 amp's and when you add the thickness of the insulation, it is, but the wire inside is much lower quality. These cables really are what they say they are. I would tell any of my friends, to buy them.

The other reviews made it seem like these were copper wire, but they're anodized aluminum. For 12- foot cables they are about average, I like the jaws that accommodate different battery terminal styles, but they are lightweight and should be fine for occasional jump starts.

If your looking for heavy duty cables, these may not be the best choice.
