This is, in my opinion, the best office/desk toy. I am on the phone all day doing cusotmer serice and this thing for real keeps me sane and stress-free. I makes my brain feel good and relax! Plus its only like $3.00 so you cant beat it. People who I sit by will pick it up and they'll be like "This thing rules where'd you get it?" And only online I guess. It's not at like Toys R Us or anything because belive me i've looked like everywhere. I'td be a good office present, too. Buy multiple!!!

My son has Sensory Processing Dysfunction (Disorder) and we needed to get him something that he could fidget with for the times that we needed him to be still and/or quiet. This product worked well, but be warned that they come apart very easily, and once my son discovered that he continued to take them apart (and join them to the other ones he had), making a GIANT Tangle toy.

I have a daughter with an OCD disorder where she pulls her hair, and a son with Autism. Each of my children have fallen in love with the hairy tangle. With this, I have purchased almost one of every other type of tangle, including the tangle jr., that I could find. One of each, for EACH child. I, my husband, and my children's Psychologist, all think they are very good for my children. My daughter's OCD disorder has become more controlled and she is less likely to submit to her compulsion than she would've been previously, due to having something to keep her hands busy, with her tangles. Her teacher has even allowed her to keep one on her desk at school for times like tests, or anything that causes her to be nervous where her compulsion surfaces. On the other hand, my Autistic son is subject to melt downs, and I find that handing him a tangle or two will help him simmer down more quickly while in the midst of a meltdown. Also, my husband even loves the tangle fidget toys while he is involved in watching a movie, or while working and reading over, or thinking of what to put into, a particular e-mail, or something that takes his undivided attention. Usually he would bite his nails when he would become engrossed and now he will reach for a tangle on occasion. When he does, he doesn't bite his nails. These devices are excellent for anyone with similar compulsion disorders that involve their hands, or if you just need to get someone's attention, like my son in the middle of a meltdown. We have chrome tangles (in every color), hairy tangles (in many various colors), big tangles, tangle jr., transparent tangles, original tangle, just so many variations... I highly recommend the Tangle in all of it's various forms.

While this product did have a bit of therapeutic/educational value for my Autistic son, they all broke (I bought 2 different ones and he received one as a gift)within a few days. It wasn't even my son who broke them. It couldn't even stand up to my 4 year old niece! Good idea but a piece of junk!

Very small, I mean very very small. This was purchased for my 13 yr son that fidgets with things all the time and I thought he would use this will doing homework....might be too small.

I bought this for my daughter and like any other toy she played with it for sometime and then got bored with it. Still is a good quality toy and durable. I even enjoy playing with it!

I bought this toy for my son, who has autism. He really enjoys fidgeting with it, and it really helps to calm him down. I was a little disappointed at how easily the pieces come apart when pulled though, since he tend to put everything in his mouth.

My 13 year old loves this -- & so do his teachers. Helps him keep from fidgeting w/everything else w/in reach. We have bought multiples now.

Havent opened it yet. Its a stocking gift. Its very tiny but ok. Think my son will enjoy it for a minute atleast.
