Who is Julie Hogan? She may be the J.K. Rowling of Harlequin romance authors. This is her first novel but it is a good one and hopefully there will be many more. It was a "I'm not putting this book down until I finish it" type book with great characters and a "hold your interest" plot. If you like romance novels, you'll love this one. Get busy Julie, we are waiting for the next one.

I really enjoyed this book! The characters are believable and the plot is exciting. I became involved with Lauren, Cole, and especially Jem. I cared what happened to them. Romance readers everywhere will find this book entertaining and engrossing.

Okay, first of all, could this really be her first book? Wow! What a debut. "Tangled Sheets, Tangled Lies" is a "Jem" of a story destined for you keeper shelf. Julie Hogan has the kind of fresh new voice I've been waiting for from Silhouette Desire. This book is funny, touching and full of well drawn characters you won't want to say goodbye to at the end. So I have only one question: When's her next one coming out!!??

Cole Travis doesn't know he has a son until the death of his ex-wife, Kelly. He is furious, not because of her deception, but because of the abandonment of his son by Kelly right after his birth. He hires an investigator to search for his son, and so far he has got five possibilities. Today, he arrives in Valle Verde and by pure luck; he has the chance to pose as a handyman to find out if the Simpson boy is his son.

Lauren Simpson is a retired model and has settled, with her adopted son, Jem, in Valle Verde. She is in need of a man who could refurnish her new home and turn the barn into a store. When Cole applies for the job, she hesitates to offer him the position because she is attracted to him on first sight.

Cole soon finds evidence to prove that Jem is his son --- but it isn't just Jem that he wants but also Lauren, the woman that he has grown to care about and love.

Just the title of TANGLED SHEETS, TANGLED LIES promises a hot romance with plenty of passion and loving. Readers will be delighted to find this tale realistic, sexy, witty and pleasant to read. The story itself is dramatic but doesn't lack for humour. Be prepared to lose your heart to Cole, Lauren and Jem once you finish this book ---AND--- be prepared to want more.

What a fantastic book! This book has just the right amount of passion, humor, and humanity. Julie Hogan did an incredible job with these characters and this story. I can't wait until the next one.

This book was fantastic - great story, awesome characters, funny and real. The writing is lyrical and engaging - I read it in one sitting. When is her next book coming out???

The characters are believable and likeable with a complete story line. I found it very reminiscent of a Danielle Steel novel. I'll be waiting for the next one ... You go girl!
