As with the other Daybreak Mysteries, B. J. Hoff does a great job of putting Daniel and Jennifer right back into the action and suspense that seems to follow them wherever they go. In The Tangled Web, they meet a mob informant as well as a mentally handicapped boy who will eventually become their son. The way that Daniel deals with his own handicap of blindness is an inspiration in this series as well as the way that the characters lean on the power of God to see them through dangerous and even life-threatening situations. The Tangled Web, like all of the Daybreak mysteries, kept me reading until the end and I thank B. J. for her great writing style!
