Alfredo Marcucci at his very best!, July 27, 2010

As a Belgian tango dancer I have followed Alfredo Marcucci for years in his second homeland. In Belgium he often took the role of leader, just because of his great talent and deep knowledge of tango. Lots of his recordings suffer a bit of the fact that he had to take up a role that was not made for him. In this recording this burden falls of his shoulders. He finds in Baltazar Benítez the perfect soulmate.
And so the best Marcucci comes to live: a modest man, but with music of great beauty in his heart.
