5.0 out of 5 stars Like an amazing private lesson!
I have been a tango lover for years and finally decided to try it myself and these videos were perfect! (There are three videos that follow "The Embrace.") 2.0 out of 5 stars Mas or menos
Mas or menos. More or less. Production quality is fine. The instruction consists of learning steps - not the best way to learn to tango. Instructor does not speak English, which means that something is likely lost in translation.

The music is amazing and original, and my husband was able to follow along perfectly because they demonstrate the steps slowly, from both points of view. Best of all, it's like taking a private lesson from Carlos and Alicia. They are truly incredible!

2.0 out of 5 stars Too old-fashioned, July 9, 2002

This review is from: Tango the Embrace - Level 1 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is the way tango was maybe 10 to 20 years ago. But we are in the 21st century now. People don't want to look like this, dress like this, or dance like this anymore. Time to move on with the new generation of tango dancers and teachers. Time for nuevo tango.
