Too much fun!,

I defy you to listen to this CD without smiling! You don't need to understand French (but a little does help) to savor the magnificent abilities of all the musicians. Sanseverino obviously appreciates the swing music of the forties, but he makes it fun by singing of things like traffic jams and war movies. Make sure to listen to the tag at the end of the 11th track where he informs us, "Je suis un ogre..."

it's alive!,

Sanseverino is an Italian in Paris, where he has gathered a really great band around him. Jazzy, swinging music with a definitive "now"-feel to it. Great, inspiring, energetic and just a tiny bit melancholy. The best music you'll find in France these days! Actually I'm anxiously waiting for his next album!

Great album, so much fun!,
This review is from: Le Tango Des Gens (Audio CD)
This is cheerful, bouncy, spunky, whatever you want to call it. Great guitar playing (a la django), fast-paced tunes, whimsical ones, and a few slow and moving ones as well. Sanseverino is the stuff, guaranteed to send you on your day with a smile and a bounce! Understanding the lyrics is a plus, but not a requirement! :)
