If you like tango and a good story, this is it! Graat cast and wonderful dancing a la "The Red Shoes." Although you might cnsider this a "dance" movie it's surprisingly deep and very "foreign" in that it has the texture only an international film can have. If it were only available in U.S. format I'd buy it at almost any price!

Please, does anyone know if and when this will be released on DVD for USA format? I have been waiting, and my VHS copy has been borrowed away by friends.

This is a film to be revisited time and again.

Tango Lesson is an extraordinary work of art from all points of view. As a "tango movie" it not only shows all there is to know about this dance, but it also brings it to a higher level, incorporating and interrelating several dancers dancing alltogether with beauty and precision. Really outstanding the synchronizing of the very, very difficult steps the tango has. On the other hand, the music is superb: very well conceived and in perfect combination with the dance and full of beauty. The dancers are of the utmost quality. And the story, which I feel is the week part of the movie is attractive. Tango Lesson is that, a lesson on the life of the "porteños" by means of the tango. I compell all readers to see it. I WISH WE COULD GET THE FORMAT TO BE ABLE TO BUY IT IN THE US. Without doubt this movie is an icon.
