Angel D'Agostino played piano and his Orchestra was one of the most popular 'tango bands' in Argentina during the 1940s. In fact D'Agostino's partnership with Angel Vargas goes back to 1932, when he first formed his orchestra. He also achieved great sucess as a composer.
Angel Vargas sang the tango tunes with great personality. Together they were idolised by the public and enjoyed huge success.
