Absolutely the best scale we've ever owned. It is quick, accurate (referenced to doctor's beam balance scale), and precise (+/- 0.2 lbs). It is true you should not do a body fat measurement if you have a pace maker but you can still do a weight only measurement (press the center toe button). More expensive than a Walmart special but this one will actually show you how much you weigh.

This scale was easy to set up and use. It reports a lot of information to help with weight loss and training in a clear fashion. The ability to keep track of 4 people is also very useful in a household. I can't judge the accuracy of its body fat readings, but they appear to be very consistent day to day.

Excellent scale. I have given them as gifts since I received mine. I am a doctor and think this scale is an excellent way to keep up with weight, hydration, and fat percentage on a daily basis.

We love this scale. It is easy to program for up to 4 people, remembers your information, and gives numbers relative to things like activity level of each individual. It is easy to read and gives weight AND body fat level. Seems to be reliable so far. This scale also is easy and large to step on. We don't always like the numbers we see but it definitely tells us what we need to know!

Works just as advertised in its product description. Was easy to setup, and the fact that it saves 4 peoples info, as well as having just a plain weight option makes it perfect for our use.

I bought two of these 9 months ago, one for us, and the other as a gift. Both still work fine, and I am very happy with it. It is very easy to use, and the display is quite large which makes it easy to read. It is made in Japan, so I expect it will last for a long time.

I love this product! Besides measuring weight and body fat, it stores individual statistics for several people. It's excellent for anyone trying to lose or maintain weight.

Just put batteries in, program and use. I was in the hospital due to dehydration and ws told that when I went home, they wanted me to call in my weights every day. Seeing that I did not have a scale I started checking on which one to buy. Consumer reports listed a
"Tanita" as the best. I had never heard of a Tanita but the more I checked the better it sounded. I ordered the scale thru Amazon and it arrived at my house shortly after I did. I opened it, put the batteries in and programed it. The directions are real easy to follow. You can program up to 4 people. When you go to use it you just tap your number with your toe and stand on the scale. The scale will give a readout of your weight and the make up of the body fat and water content in percentages and will keep this in memory. I think this is a great product that is real accurate. I was suprised at the price that you could obtain on of these very accurate machines and the speed at the shipping ( it was quick) I would HIGHLY recommend the purchasing of this scale.

We are very happy with this scale. It works well for a family of four and has a very convenient guest setting as well. It seems very accurate and is pretty easy to use once you have set everything up. I like that it has an "athlete" setting for me and settings for the rest of the family for regular levels of activity. Body fat and hydration levels are less useful than I thought they might be when buying this product. In order for it to work well for the hydration and body fat readings, you need to measure yourself at the same time every day and you get good trending but you can't simply walk up to it at any time and get accurate and consistent readings on those items. Overall, it is great as a scale and to help you measure trends on body fat and hydration.
