I got this scale 6 months back.It arrived in perfect condition.It gave pretty accurate weight for me and husband.Has been consistent since then.Shows a variation of +/- 0.5 pounds(max)if u weigh daily..which is actually correct.
Very consistent.

This scale seems very reliable. It tells weight to the tenth. I use it as an estimate I don't live by the number to the tenth, more of a trend. So for my purposes I love it, the price was reasonable and it works well. I would recommend this scale.

This scale measures in 0.2 lb increments. 0.2 lb = 3.2 oz. I took a liquid measure and added 3 oz at a time. Each time my weight increase 0.2 lb as advertised. I'm on a HCG diet program and the daily loss is important. The other two scales I got, read in 0.2 lb increments, but take up to a pound to make any actual changes. This scale appears to be very precise. As to the accuracy (i.e. reading the correct weight) I cannot verify this since I don't have any other scale that I trust to verify it or any calibrated weights. Either way, even if its off 5 lbs, (which I doubt), I don't care since it's the precision I am interested in. I highly recommend this scale. Considering the price, it's an awesome deal!

I received the scale today. And the LCD screen feel off in EXACTLY 5 MINUTES. Can't believe it is a Japanese product. Beware of scales from Tanitha. Better buy personally from store in case you want to return if you find it broken, as Amazon takes no returns once you open it

No, it is not exactly the same weight every time you use it. But it is a scale and the body's weight actually does fluctuate depending on time of day, etc. So, I just wanted a scale to keep me honest and help me lose weight. This does the job just fine. It varies between a few pounds, but anyone who is that obsessed about a few pounds would do better to see a mental health therapist than to purchase a scale. I recommend this scale if you are not in the market for spending $100 on a machine that is never kind to you.

Its very sturdy, but rather big. I gave it 4 stars because it's a good scale to have apart from one flaw - it is always 4 lbs over. Once you know this, you just subtract 4 lbs each time and you're ok. Most digital scales are 4 lbs over too, so this isn't a huge problem. I plan to buy another two for our other bathrooms.

You can never go wrong with a tanita..this scale is perfect for my needs. I highly reccommend it. It came earlier than expected with batteries and in perfect condition. It's very easy to use and reliable as I have had tanitas in the past which were a little more complex with BMI settings and height and weight.

Liked it. I bought it in 2006 still working great. Recommend others to buy it. Its strong and durable. you can gift it to friends

I bought this scale several years ago. It has been used by us and somewhat abused by children. It is still a solid performer, looks nice and very consistent. I don't weigh myself enough in other place to know whether there is/isn't a difference with other scales. When I was pregnant, there was a difference of 2 pounds between this Tanita and my ob's scale, but I weighed myself using Tanita in the morning on empty stomach, and my appointments with ob were at night, so some variance is reasonable. I would not recommend using this scale on carpeted floor though, only on hard surfaces.

My only complaint in the number that appears on the scale, but that is hardly Tanita's fault (I blame super heavy socks even when I don't wear them). If anything, they make it easier to bear by giving you the option of using the metric system. So on the days I feel particularly distraught by my weight, I switch to kilos and voila! I am instantaneously 2.2 times lighter!

I've been using the HD 313-W for about three months now and I have no complaints. The scale is easy to use and provides consistent results. When you first stand on it the numbers go back and forth a bit, then the scale locks in an average reading. The display is easy to read, can be switched from pounds to kilos, and is accurate to within a tenth of a pound/kilo. Overall a good scale for the price.
