I was first exposed to Shastro on Public Radio Broadcasting's Echoes. I immediately went to amazon to order Oasis Nights. This music is so uplifting and diverse. Tantric Heart lives up to its' name "Music for lovers" It is more mellow and hypnotic than the faster paced and uplifting Oasis Nights. Though the mood of these two are quite different I love them both. Shastro has shown me he is not only talented but also capable of diverse compositions.

Probably the only dedicated "new age" music I actually love. It has a singular quality that lifts it above the field: subtlety. As peacefully fulfilling as a thunderstorm, if that makes sense to anyone. Five stars.

I'm a Shastro Fan. This is my 3rd CD from him. I do enjoy his music, and the way it puts me into a more relaxed state of mind. Out of the 3 CD's I own, I'm still hooked on Bandole'. ** The only downside I could think of to warrant any such review of this particular CD is that it seems to end too quickly. :^) ** I sensed an Indian, Middle Eastern flair which was nice couple with his own unique rythyms. ** I will eventually have heard or own all of his works. As with any artist, sometimes there are those works that may or may not be as memorable as other works. But still, they are signatures of the ones making them, and I am a Fan (of Shastro). I enjoy his music as background, or when driving, or just looking for a wonderful experience within. Beside this one and Bandole', the other CD I have is Malimba Moon. ** I rated this a 4. The other 2 were easy 5's.

This is a great CD for driving (you can't get stressed when it's playing), romance, or just relaxing yet upbeat background music. I absolutely love it. The exotic instruments blend perfectly with the subtle vocals. Very sensual!

This CD, especially "The Diamond and the Lotus" which is the translation of the Sanskrit mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, is music of the heart and soul. There is a great depth of sound that is soothing yet complex. It will bring you great spiritual peace and joy. It has become one of my favorites.

i discovered shastro a couple of years ago--his bandole cd. i played it repeatedly. Tantric Music For Lovers cd is wonderful. the Diamond and the Lotus is especially inspirational, elegant and sensual. i usually play it on a portable cd player. when i finally put it on the real stereo i noticed an unusual base-like sound that reminds me of a slow moving serpent that all blends in perfectly with the music--i remembered the east indian dancers i used to go see at the university years ago. i miss that. i choreographed my own dance (in a daydream of course) i had to get this cd for my friend to use in her massage therapy studio. she loves it too. Shastro's other cd Oasis Night is on its way to me as i type. i will eventually have all of his cd's .

I've played this for friends, as an example of more mellow, meditative music, and everyone wants one. This music is for lovers, as it gives space for thought and energy from the listener. This album doesn't take over. The melodies are beautiful, gentle and quite exotic sounding. Enjoy!

Near perfection -- music that will gently lull you into a truly relaxed state. Depending on your mood, TANTRIC HEART is music for meditation, sleep, love -- anything you enjoy. Extremely highly recommended -- among the best of its kind.

This CD is a must have for lovers. Heart opening, tender, slow but with a pulse. It is amazing that someone can make music/love this fine. It deserves 10 stars.

If ever there was a musician who expresses the longing and celebration of the heart, it is Shastro. His music is rumiesque poetry to the Beloved soflty whispering its eternal secrets to our souls.
