This is a great book for anyone in a loving relationship, who wants to keep the pot boiling, not just simmering past menopause, andropause, midlife crisis and old age. It brings great tantric sex within the reach of everyone from young lovers to septu and octogenarians, staggering the imagination! I loved this book! As a fledgling practitioner of Tantra, I found Diana's advice to be helpful, practical, and easily digestible. Her writing style is very warm and inviting, as if one is talking to a good friend. I also enjoyed Richard's interjections from the male point of view. Part instructional, part humorous, and all enjoyable, Tantric Sex for Busy Couples should be on the shelves of any couple who wants to stay madly in love and have crazy/amazing sex.

I should have sent it back for a refund. This is the worst book I have ever read for couples. I tried to give it away several times and they look through it and say no thanks. It is not just me. If you are extremely bored and don't have a life or you are a virgin and know nothing then you might want to read it. It might be good if your partner is in a coma seriously. All the raving reviews must be from the author's family and friends. I have read other books on this same subject that by far better. Try Urban Tantra by: Barbara Carrellas.

This is book is very well written and informative. The author and her husband are obviously skilled teachers and have done an amazing job of bringing their intimacy workshop to the written page. You do not need to be interested in tantra or know anything about it to get benefits from this book. You will learn easy ways to increase intimacy with your partner and improve your sex life.

"Tantric Sex for Busy Couples" is a pretty good book for people who are already interested in having Tantric sex. The book is 212 pages long, and it is split into 5 different chapters. The wife of the couple does the majority of the writing in the book, but the husband pops in with random snippets once in awhile to represent the male viewpoint of Tantric sex. The book includes quite a few different diagrams and illustrations to illustrate different Tantra positions or different Tantric sex positions as well. This makes it really easy to figure out what you're doing when you go to actually attempt something.

There is a downside though. This book does get pretty far into the spiritual and emotional connection of Tantra which is one of the main points of having Tantric sex. However, a lot of the spiritual talk didn't interest me much, and I felt like, as someone who was curious but unsure about trying Tantric sex, I was more alienated than included by all of the discussion of spirituality in the book. However, if you know that the spiritual aspect is what you're looking for, then it won't bother you one bit.

Either way, if you want a guide on Tantric sex, the authors have definitely done their homework, and it provides a lot of pointers and tips to make it possible to have Tantric sex without feeling lost or confsed. There's a lot of information in here about chakra, connection, Yin and Yang manual stimulation, Tantric sex positions, Tantric pre-sex positions, and small Tantric games to play that take ten minutes or less yet bring the two of you closer together. If you know you're interested, it's definitely worth reading.

Diana and Richard Daffner have a secret for better sex. They are sharing it with you in this book. It is simple, and so obvious it is usually overlooked! It is just a matter of "being there" WITH your partner.

In my research of sex history, I note that the Hindu goddess, Parvati, is shown with four arms when she is alone. A tribute to women's ability to multi-task. BUT, when shown with Shiva, her lover, she has only two arms, as though she is focused completely on him. It is this focus that is brought to light in "Tantric Sex for Busy Couples." As the title implies, it doesn't take much time to get to a place of focus. They say about 10 minutes a day, but it can be much shorter or longer, depending on the couple. The techniques are spelled out in the book, and they have weekend intimacy retreats for group teaching (clothed). You have to do your own homework. The results are amazing!

Tantric Sex for Busy Couples is a compact, informative book that elaborates upon the practice of Tantra and Tai Chi for beginners and people like me who don't want to invest frustrating hours into it. Its simple illustrations and instructional advice really helps with achieving the mental and sexual connection of this ancient practice.

I especially love how Daffner uses her personal events to explain the specific exercises in this manual. It makes it less routine and more individualized. I tried the majority of the activities featured in this book with my boyfriend, and though none of them were mind-blowing, it was a very relaxing and sensually soothing experience.

This books is for anyone who wants to change their sex life around a little -- not necessarily spice it up, but more like slow it down, to attain the comfortable, sated feeling we all crave, after the best of climaxes.

Radical Rating: 7 hearts- A few flaws here and there, but wouldn't mind rereading.

Diana Daffner's light but enlightening narrative style will gently help you create the intimacy you crave. This book enables individuals and couples to remain in the moment and be truly present for each other, in mind, body and spirit. Remembering that the sexual connection between partners is sacred and requires and deserves the time to be nourished and nurtured is a potent ingredient for loving. Thank for the easy to follow-exercises and for showing me how, even in the midst of busy schedules there is time for intimacy, passion and a sacred, loving connection.

This book is this woman's version of Tantra, but not really the traditional version. While it was fun to experiment with my wife while we read this book, there was nothing enlightening or amazing about it.
