This bracelet’s exquisitely soft shades and shapes feature twinkling round diamonds and pear-cut tanzanite in alluring lilac blue. Light in color tone and in weight, the bracelet contain 20 pear-shaped tanzanite stones measuring 4x3mm each and 19 round .01 carat diamonds. The contemporary pattern features a side-lying pear-shaped tanzanite, two 14k white gold links, and a round diamond nestled between each pair of links. The gemstones secure in four prongs, the prongs are supported by casings, and the links loop through the casings. This delightfully feminine bracelet secures with a box clasp and a safety latch.
Transparent and mystical, tanzanite has mesmerizing blue violet shades--different colors show when the gemstone is viewed from different directions. One direction shows blue, another purple, and a third bronze, giving subtle depth to the shades. (This happens because tanzanite is trichroic. Its crystals have the property of transmitting light in three different directions.) More delicate than other gemstones, tanzanite is usually heated to intensify its blue violet hue. Named for its country of origin, the gemstone is found only in the wide plane mountains near Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa.
