5.0 out of 5 stars Mary Summer Rain uses nature to teach life principals......
I have read every book that Mary Summer Rain has written. The "Tao of Nature" is written as a continuing 'episode' in her life, using her day-to-day experiences to bring out the principals taught by nature. I feel that she captures the 'lessons' nature has to teach in her story-telling style, which brings her point into vivid view for her readers. I would...

2.0 out of 5 stars Her Older Books Are Better
The 1st couple chapters were great, and then the book takes a turn for the worst. She starts ranting about the letters she receives, and makes very condescending and judging remarks about people. The comparisons to nature start becoming contrived and you really start to get the feeling that she's become some crazy old lady who has lost touch with the world. I got about...

The comparisons to nature start becoming contrived and you really start to get the feeling that she's become some crazy old lady who has lost touch with the world. I got about 2/3 of the way through the book and couldn't read it any longer. She has much better books than this one!

I have read and loved all of her other books and was disgusted with this one. Her tone was getting close to condescending and she lectured on ad nauseum over concepts she has talked about a lot before. She brought up a few interesting topics but that was about it. I could barely make it through the book.

Mary has wrote MUCH better books I felt lectured and judged. Usually I stay up to read till 3am and this one I scanned the last 2 chapters. All the other ones were perfect till I read this one. I love Mary and her books I just felt there was alot of resentment coming from her and I was disappointed.

I am giving this book a five star rating ,just like I give all of Mary Summer Rains books ,based on the informitive content.
The manor in which Mary cleverly potrays to us ,the reader, a down to earth, easy to understand personal demonstration of living a "spiritual way".
Mary and Sally teach us through their personal triumphs and/or trials and tribulations throughout the book how to apply the truths to everyday life.
