A scholarly and practical approach to an ancient treatise,

This book is built around the most important ancient Chinese work on sex, the Ishimpo. It has been approached in a careful, scholarly fashion. The book is composed of introductions to the chapters of the Ishimpo, a translation, and drawings. The result is sensitive, very practical and concrete, and poetic.
