A Historical Book,
This review is from: The Tao & The Tree of Life: Alchemical & Sexual Mysteries of the East & West (Llewellyn's World Religion & Magick) (Paperback)
This is simply a historical book because the author decodes for the first time the hidden meaning of internal alchemy. He shows how Taoist internal alchemy and the internal alchemy of the Kabballah are essentially the same!I do not know why the other reviews here are lack luster. Also Mantak Chia wrote the foreword to this book. The person below is masquerading. Contact me if you are a fellow researcher in internal alchemy. Email: alchematron@mail.com

Excellent Comprehensive Source about Kabbala and Taoism,
By Ognyan Vassilev (Bulgaria) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Tao & The Tree of Life: Alchemical & Sexual Mysteries of the East & West (Llewellyn's World Religion & Magick) (Paperback)
"The Tao and the Tree of Life" is a magnificent book which provides important information as well as easy to do practices from Taoist and Kabbalist secret arts. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in his/her spiritual development or just looks for well-being. The book may be regarded as introduction to the next book of Mr. Yudelove, "100 Days..." - a unique step-by-step Taoist training course. So please go for these books - they really deserve it !

Great Book! A total must!,
This review is from: The Tao & The Tree of Life: Alchemical & Sexual Mysteries of the East & West (Llewellyn's World Religion & Magick) (Paperback)
I have been praticing Western Esoterics (Kabbalah)for many years, and have been a student of Taoist energy work for the last 2 years. The Work by Yudelove is great and a needed bridge between Kabbalah and Taoism. The other reviewers must have read a different book then I did or had a very basic understanding of spirituality and the Eastern and Western Traditions(the guy pretending to be Manta Chia should be ashamed of himself). The information in this book is very valuable and should not be over looked. Its a must for the students of both spiritual paths.Read this book closely. You wont be disapointed

Excellent for those seeking the Great Work,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Tao & The Tree of Life: Alchemical & Sexual Mysteries of the East & West (Llewellyn's World Religion & Magick) (Paperback)
As a novice at both Kabbalah and Taoist Yoga, I found this book to be immense value. I know little about Mr. Yudelove and bought this book mainly due to the subject matter and his master (Mantak Chia) and was not dissappointed. I have been reading it furiously, almost drinking every word. I highly recommend it.

I would have love the author to reveal more about the details of the higher taoist formulas.Still this is a great book. The taoists brought human sexuality to the highest level. In this book the long-time secrets of the Taoists-transformation of sexual energy & using it to attain immortality are revealed.

The book is too basic,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Tao & The Tree of Life: Alchemical & Sexual Mysteries of the East & West (Llewellyn's World Religion & Magick) (Paperback)
The book is too basic and lacks real content but it would be good as a primer to westerners. However there are many other books available which are much better still for introductions

Is this a book report or a book?,
By Josef Fitch (Scotland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Tao & The Tree of Life: Alchemical & Sexual Mysteries of the East & West (Llewellyn's World Religion & Magick) (Paperback)
This must have been written by the author's children (assuming he has any). It attempts to compare and contrast two spiritual schools of thought. Remember when your 3rd grade teacher told you to "compare and contrast?" Enough said? He gets one star just for writing it, much like you get 200 points on your S.A.T. just for showing up.

This book shows no understanding. It is probably not even written by a Chinese. I bought the book cause I thought it was autenthic. I feel like I've wasted my money. After contacting Eric Yudelove about this, and visiting his website, I realised that this guy has more mental problems than the average joe blow. You are welcome to see for yourself and the complaints at this guys website.
