The Tapco front sight tool worked as designed in a nice small package that is well put together. In other words, like an AK, it will get the job done, not break and last a long time.

The shipping was as I expected and the communications on when the item shipped as well as the tracking number was as expected.

The one suggestion I would make is that users place something between the screw face and the actual piece that the post screws into as it can get marred when doing the adjustments for windage.

Fit my 1951 Russian SKS perfectly; I had pre-lubed the sight, and after an initial torqueing of the handle the windage barrel and the elevation screw moved easily. Quality tools make the difference!

My front sight post on my AK was canted slightly to the left but this worked perfectly to adjust to make up for it. Built sturdy, my sight wouldn't budge but I sprayed it with some liquid wrench and grabbed the handle of the tool with a pair of channel locks and it broke free and was finally able to adjust my new toy. Took a week to get and didn't show me any tracking information but I'm not going to knock it for that because it arrived when it said it would. Happy customer.

I had previously purchased a cheaper tool. The hole was not large enough to fit the front site barrel. This one works well.

I use this on my Bulgarian AK-74. This is definitely a must-have for anybody with an AK platform rifle. It is very simple to use and sure beats trying to use pliers and/or a hammer to adjust the front sights.

This tool is a replacement for the previous one I broke due to my own ignorance. This tool is built very well. Just be sure to use a little bit of oil to loosen up the front sight.

I originally purchased a cheap $5 version of this tool and the hole in it was too small for the windage adjustment to work on my AK. This one fit perfectly and the fine treads make it easy to adjust the front sight in minute increments.

This is a very high quality tool, heavy for it's size, and well made. The T-shaped handle acts as the elevation adjustment tool for your front sight using the slotted end, as well as being the torquing screw that pushes the rod to adjust windage.I had no problems adjusting the sights on either my AK-47 or SKS. The front sight on the SKS is hooded, and the plastic tool I had before was too fat to fit into it...this tool worked perfectly. Definitely a must have in the range bag for anyone with AK/SKS series rifles.
