This review is from: Tapco STK07320-BK Saiga Intrafuse Handguard (Misc.)
I purchased and installed this with much ease right onto my Saiga 12, changed the look of my shotgun dramatically. I noticed some flaws with the design of this handguard, for one the rails aren't intergrated into the handguard they have to be mounted on using an allen key, I suggest using loc-tite thread tightener so they don't loosen when shooting (this really wasn't much of an issue but it is definitely worth mentioning). I only have one other complaint and it applies to anyone who wants to use a fore-grip, I like to use ten round magazines and don't get enough clearance when detaching the magazine to reload when the fore-grip is installed. This is not because I of the magazine or fore-grip but because as you notice in the picture the bottom rail does not extend to the end of the handguard (which it should). The fore-grip ends up being to close to the magazine and you will run into this problem with 10 or 12 round mags. I am already shopping for another hand guard or tri rail system, because of this flaw I would take my advice wisely and if you want to use the Saiga 12 with a foregrip and use a higher capacity magazine then stay away. If you don't care for the foregrip, this product is excellent. It is lightweight, sturdy and very easy to install.

I bought this handguard as a replacement for the original Saiga handguard. It fits snug, and is not overly heavy like some of the metal ones. It is vented, has good rails, and looks great! My only criticism is that Tapco should include the two Allen wrenches that are neccessary for building and installing this handguard.

junk! It broke this first time out shooting. It is cheap plastic. Spend a little more money and get a aluminum fore-grip for your saiga 12.

This thing broke when I shot 3" Magnum slugs through my Saiga 12. I had a UTG vertical foregrip installed and the cheap plastic rails on this could not hold up to any sort of abuse. I would definitely NOT purchase this handguard

The screws holding the side rails on have continually kept coming loose for me. It looks neat, and seems sturdy except for those side screws. I even lost one while firing, which is not a good thing. Otherwise, it seems fine.

Quick and easy to install. Only problem I had was getting the screw to grab the nut on the front adapter. Had to tape something in the hole to keep it in place so I could get it together.

I installed this on my saiga 12 and it looks good on it, it was easy to install, and it's functioning. My complaints are that it really isn't sturdy at all, I was going to put my foregrip on the left side so that I could hold it at my hip, but when I put it on there, I noticed the plastic flexed quite a bit. I have a flashlight on the other side, and it's holding up fine.
The handguard didn't really fit too good around the barrel so I put the adapter (for the 308 I think, it was the biggest adapter that came in the kit) in it, and it fits really really snug now up against the barrel, I know the barrel gets extremely hot when you shoot a lot, so I guess we'll see if it's going to cause a problem with the plastic melting onto it. The instructions don't say to use any adapters for the front for a saiga 12, but it looked too awkward to me without it. The only other thing is that (like mentioned in previous reviews) the rails attach with tiny screws and you have to install them onto the handguard yourself, which is easy, but they look like they would be the weak point. I put about 300 rounds through it with a flashlight on it, and it was fine, so for the money, it's a decent rail, and easy to install. If I had to do it again, I would have probably went with one of the aluminum handguards, but I'm not disappointed with my purchase.

This hand-guard was easy to install on my saiga 7.62. It looks much better than the stock hand-guard. I would have given it five stars except for one thing. They should have used heavier duty allen head screws to mount the rails and front of the guard. They use a real small allen key to tighten them and they are easy to strip out. Not that big of deal just have to be careful when tightening the screws.
