5.0 out of 5 stars incredible collection of songs, April 21, 2001

This is by far one of my favorite CDs to just stick in and listen to all the way through. Every song is great, and- if you are familiar with Tarantino's films- each will take you back to a certain scene. Tarantino is the master of picking just the right tune to set a mood- the amazing thing is that he can do it with songs that are as great to listen to apart from the movie as they are in the movie. His commentary is interesting to listen to once, but then gets annoying.

4.0 out of 5 stars A massive collection of some of the coolest oldies, November 24, 1998
This review is from: The Tarantino Connection (Soundtrack Anthology) (Audio CD)
Tarrantino knows good music when he hears it! I enjoyed everything on this CD, it's just makes you want to get in your convertible with pair of sunglasses and ride to it! Only one thing I didn't like about it is Quentin's constant ramblings between the songs.. SHUT UP AND JUST LET THE SONGS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect blend of music for the Ultra-Violence., April 28, 2000

This album was masterfully put together by Quentin. It has some of the best songs he ever used, especially Sweet Jane and Waiting For The Miracle. The intro to Stuck in the Middle with you is especially honest and funny. If you like compilation CD's with a wide variety of music, give this one a shot.

Tarantino is a master when it comes to picking the right songs for his movies. This is a great collection that he put together. I hope he will do another in the future with his newer movies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tarantino has definatly outdone himself on this Soundtrack., July 12, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Tarantino Connection (Soundtrack Anthology) (Audio CD)
What a great CD!!! It's all the best songs from my favorite movies. Tarantino definatly knows how to pick 'em. It's a lot of really great music. On top of that there are interviews of the mastermind himself. If you like his movies and have all the soundtracks already it is still worth it to get this one. Not only does it make your set complete but to hear the wity scriptmaker..! If you don't have any of his soundtracks than this compilation is for you. It's all the good stuff stirred in together with a little bit of Tarantino and a lot of Sugar. It's a must get.

This CD is a must-have for Tarantino fans. It includes the best song from all his previous movies, together with nice liner notes (including signature) and an interview. This makes a great collection to your music shelf. I highly recommend it.
