Best Pocketbook,
By MD (CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Tarascon Primary Care Pocketbook, 1st Edition (Paperback)
It's a comprehensive pocket book, very well done. Each disease is presented on one page with clinical features, work-up and management. The therapy is up to date with doses for each drug. Easy to read.

This is the most outstanding medical reference book that I have ever seen!! I use the pocketbook on a daily basis for clinical pearls about diagnosis and treatment of essentially all the medical conditions that I see. Very complete and yet concise. No extraneous information.

This review is from: Tarascon Primary Care Pocketbook, 1st Edition (Paperback)
This book does in 200 compact pages what most medical textbooks attempt to accomplish in 800 pages. It covers virtually every primary care topic faced in an outpatient setting and I can carry it in my shirt pocket. I love it!

Ignore the 1st Seven Reviews...,
This review is from: Tarascon Primary Care Pocketbook, 1st Edition (Paperback)
They are all dated January 21, 2004 and I highly doubt they are real, honest reviews. I'm not sure the other two reviews are real either. This is one Tarascon edition I'd rather see before buying (unlike their Pharmacopia).
