Starting Sunday, target will be giving out a $50 Gift card with the purchase of this bundle. Offer is good through the 19th. Kmart is giving away a $50 Gaming Coupon this week, but a lot of them only had one or two or even none in stock.

Thanks for the tip.

I'm wondering if this will be as good as it gets or if Black Friday will have something even better...maybe a $100 gift card? Of course I've heard about limited supply so I'm not sure how many of these they will have in 2 1/2 weeks.

Joe P. says:
Well, this bundle probably won't get much better. And like you said, they might be out by then. However, there is a nice Black Friday bundle planned, but it's the 160 GB. It consists of the console, Ratchet and Clank All 4 One, and Little Big Planet 2 Special Edition. It is supposed to be 219.99. If it was the 320 Gig, even for 50 bucks more, I'd be all over it

Man, If Amazon could match this, I'd bite. Might have to check out Target.

Yeah, there might be a few better deals bf, but they'll probably be limited and I needed one now as my old 80GB YLOD and I got it fixed to get the data transferred off - felt it was a ticking time bomb so needed a new one ASAP! Plus I wanted UC3 on the release day and honestly it is worth not getting whatever bonuses they offer to not wait and be on edge not knowing if you'll get one of the bf deals... Time is money!

Can the target deal be done online?

target was listing the ps3 160gb w/ $50 gift card online this week, but now looks like its only available in-store. they must have run out of the supply for online purchases. so it seems like they will list this new deal online too. im sure amazon will match this upcoming deal just like they did with target's ps3 160gb, xbox mw3 console and xbox 4gb deals for this week.

I cannot seem to find anything on Target's website about this. Can anyone link me?

Joe P. says:
You wouldn't. The deal isn't good until Sunday and even then I'm not sure if it os good online.

Oh okay. Thanks for the heads up.

R. Gray says:
Sadly, no. So add tax, gas, and time to go pick it up at Target and that $50 gift card works itself out to about $30 net gain on average.

No online deal for this, no match. Never assume.

Joe P. says:
They usually don't match these until about Tuesday-ish.

Depending on where you live, a better deal is Last week I had put in an order for the PS3 Uncharted 3 bundle ($300) and the PS3 Blu-ray remote ($25) here at Amazon, and they charged me about $28 New York sales tax (shipping was free). Luckily, they were very slow to process the order, because a few hours later, when I saw that had the same two items for the same prices, but with free shipping and NO NY SALES TAX, I instantly canceled my Amazon order and bought it there.

Even if I had a Target store within walking distance of my house, I'd still have to pay $28 for sales tax, which would only net me a $20 gain in terms of the gift card. That's really not worth it to me. I'd much rather save the money on the purchase than get the gift card.

Megacam says:
Yes but if you are going to buy another game, the Target deal is still better, even with paying for tax.

Guess no price match ? Or gift card

If Amazon doesn't match Targets $50.00 gift card, I'm buying my PS3 from Target.

I guess my PS3 going right back to Amazon still siting there unopened. Target here we come, and thanks again Amazon.

Lexa P. says:
I'm thinking of doing Target as well. I didn't wanna pay sales tax so I was waiting for Amazon to sweeten the deal but even with almost 30 dollars in sales tax, I'm still getting a 20 dollar Target gift card free.

Posted on Nov 15, 2011 8:41:59 PM PST
Joe P. says:
Yeah, I might eat the tax and do Target. the 199 Black Friday bundle is tempting, but I really want the 320 GB and don't want to do the swap myself

Megacam says:
well, i've been waiting for Amazon to match this deal...but I'd be silly not to buy it from Target, pay tax, and get a brand new game for $35 more. That's even counting a $10 credit I have at Amazon right now.

Lexa P. says:
What game at Target is 35 more?

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 16, 2011 1:59:39 PM PST
Megacam says:
I mean that the total price from Target, including an additional game of your choice would only cost $335 (after $50 rebate). which is only $35 more than the Amazon bundle. Sorry for any confusion

Lexa P. says:
Gotcha. You don't have to buy a game with the 50 dollar gift card though. I'd use it for groceries cause I usually get my food, toiletries, etc at Target. That's where the confusion came in.

I just got the Uncharted PS3 bundle from Target. I'll use the $50.00 gift card to buy gifts on Black Friday. Very disappointed that Amazon didn't price match. Good luck to the rest of you guys.
