I registered for and recieved this blanket and loved the softness but after the very first wash the satin trim fell off and began to fall apart in numerous places due to poor stitching. I thought that it might be an isolated incident but was disappointed twice with the same problem. So, if you plan on buying one of these, I highly recommend that you carefully inspect the seam around the trim because ALL of them at the store would have posed the same problem. For twenty dollars, I shouldn't have to worry about sewing it myself. Poor quality, one star.

I just love this blanket, it's so soft. Our daughter was born premature and I had it for her at the nursery - all the nurses kept saying it was the world's softest blanket. I want to go out and get a few more - they are so soft.

I bought this blanket in 4 colors. I love it so much and my daughter loves it too. I was in Babies r us looking for an alternative to those fleece blankets (the ones I have bought don't wash well and look aged after only one washing) These blankets are wonderful and a complete life saver. I agree with the others who say that their babies love to be swaddled in this blanket when they are fussy. I recomend buying at least two or three so you can always have one clean.

Very soft and love it but it does shed little hairs everywhere. Makes a mess and I am always picking them off of bedding and clothes.

Since this review I posted I have washed the blanket several times and the little hairs are not a problem anymore. It is now just a great blanket.

I registered for this blanket because it was so soft in the store. After my son was born it quickly became apparent that we would need a "back up blankie". So now we have 2 that we rotate. These blankets each get washed at least once a week. They have held up extremely well and look and feel like new. My fil accidently got one of them under the stroller on a walk. The wheel did wear a hole in a corner of the blanket and it became extremely dirty in that area. With some pre-treating and a couple of washes the dirt stains all came out. I mended the hole and there has not been any further damage in that area. My son will not go to sleep with out this blanket. You can hear the joy and relief in his voice when he gets the blanket when he is tired. He drags it all over the house. Like other reviews have said, I wish I could get one in my size.

I received this blanket as a gift from my mom and have never felt anything so soft. My daughter, age 5 months has had this since she was born and loves it. Oh yeah, and the cat keeps fighting with me to claim it as her own. My only complaint is that I can't find an adult version of the blanket.

I got 2 of these at my baby shower. My husband loved them so much he tried to use them! My 9-month old adores it - she kneads the satin between her fingers when she's napping. Now I have 4 (daycare, car, and two for home) and even the one at her daycare which has been washed every day for the last 4 months is still soft (although it feels a little "crunchy", but I think they wash on hot and dry it on high). I have found it loses a bit of its fuzzy soft feel with each wash, but I think its a reasonable amount. I wish I could find one of these for me!

My daughter fell in love with this blanket. I needed a transitional object for her and for sleeping this was great. She loves to just feel it and hold it while going to sleep. Its held up in the wash a dozen times and still is just as soft and I dont always use fabric softener...so its durable. Its also very warm and was perfect through the winter and now Im just looking for another one to keep at grandma's house.

Just curious if anyone has the same problem as mine. The hair of this blanket just came off easily.
