4.0 out of 5 stars Target Success is a quick read with good information., March 7, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Target Success: How You Can Become a Successful Entrepreneur, Regardless of Your Background (Paperback)
This book is quick and easy to read, and contains lots of valuable information pertaining to anyone who is striving for entrepreneurial success. The book doesn't contain anything particularly new, but Dwyer puts things in ways that are easier to understand and relate to.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best I have ever read on setting goals, March 12, 2006
This review is from: Target Success: How You Can Become a Successful Entrepreneur, Regardless of Your Background (Paperback)
The author challenges tradional ways of setting goals. He says that what we should do is set targets, like an archer. If you don't hit the bullseye at least you hit the target. No more room for discouragement and the reality that like goals they may change, but you can be encouraged that if you are aiming for the target and hit it, but not the bullseye, you are one step closer to your desired end.

5.0 out of 5 stars Invaluable and Actionable - Target Success and Live It, July 4, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Target Success: How You Can Become a Successful Entrepreneur, Regardless of Your Background (Paperback)
An execllent book - with all of the key ingredients for success in business, and probably in life as well. Having been in executive management for the last 10 years, my experience is that the keys to success in business are within most of us, and only need to be awakened and used systematically.

Don Dwyer wrote this book nearly 20 years ago, and it is as topical today as the day it was written. He covers the importance of setting targets, working with and through others, maintaining a positive attitude, having a dream, thinking big, continuous self-improvement and balanced success. At the end of each chapter is a good summary and action steps that, if followed, will provide a practical foundation for growth and development.
