I was pleasantly surprised - glad I saw it!,

Since I am not too much into foreign films, especially those with no actors I could recognize, I was hesitant to watch it at first. I was stationed in India for a year so when I got back to the USA a friend of mine told me I should see it and said I would like it. Anyhow, I read a couple reviews of it (I believe one was from the NY Times online (archive), Leonard Malton's video guide book and checked it out in the Blockbuster Buster video guide book as well) and they all gave it good reviews so I got a copy and decided to see it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it. Not that it is a happy film, but much of the issues they tackled, from what I saw while in India, were very preasent in Indian society to this day, the story was moving and the performances by the lead (I think his name is Om Puri, my friend said he is pretty known there in films) was really good. Anyhow, I would reccommend it - i was defintely not disappointed!

Well I made the worst investment so far in buying this movie. It was just plain trash and just hopeless
