This review is from: Targeting Terror: U.S. Policy Toward Middle Eastern State Sponsors and Terrorist Organizations, Post-September 11 (Policy Papers (Washington Institute ... (Washington Institute for Near East Policy)) (Paperback)
I had to read this book for a graduate program and it was awful! Extremly one-sided and very pro Israel. If you subscribe to the neocons and their philosophy, are anti-Muslim and pro-Israel (to a fault) then this is the book for you. Additionally, the book is not even well written nor does it present a comprehensive or informed look at the subject. If you want a more impartial, realistic study of the Middle East and the Israel and Plaestinian issue look elsewhere. I suggest Bernard Lewis' "The Middle East," and/or Walter Laqueur's "The Israel-Arad Reader: A Documentary History of the Middle east Conflict," - both are excellent books by authors who are subject matter experts and impartial. Avoid Targeting Terror!
