The Targus 17 Classic Clamshell is designed to protect up to 17 widescreen laptops. The clamshell design includes an adjustable divider to accommodate smaller laptops. The zippered accessory storage pocket includes a cell phone compartment and pockets to store pens, business cards and additional items. Constructed of durable polyester material, the case features a classic look with red accents for added style. The paddedremovable shoulder strap provides ergonomic comfort and equal weight distribution for comfortable carrying. For document storage, the case features a back slip pocket. I bought a Dell 17 inch Notebook and it fit into this bag perfectly. The second compartment of this well made bag is very useful and contains three velcro pockets to store accessories--plus much more room for other things. The back of the bag has a compartment to store folders or papers for easy access. This is a good, solid bag and I am very pleased with the construction.

I had a hard time finding a bag of this size in my local retail stores. The few I could find were way over priced. Thankfully, this site made it easy and fun to find my desired product. I have a Dell Studio 17 inch that I also use with a cooling pad and portable USB mouse. This bag holds everything I need without effort.Which I have to admit creates one heavy bag! But the sturdy handle and shoulder strap help ease some of the burden. This is a large bag for a large laptop! The inner velcro strap keeps my laptop secure along with the inner adjustable velcro divider. I am very pleased with this bag and all the space it has to offer. I highly recommend this product!

I'm very disappointed in the laptop bag I bought from a company named SpaceBound, Inc. There were three major problems with the bag.

1) The bottom of the bag was damaged in an irreparable way. It seemed as if something very heavy had been sitting on the bag for long enough to misshape the form of the corner.
2) The advertised shoulder strap was not included in the bag. Believe me, I looked in every nook and cranny and it wasn't there.
3) The padded laptop divider was not included in the bag either! As before I looked everywhere.

Overall, I'm disappointed in the product's condition. Amazon's service has been excellent so far and I'm in the process of having the bag RMA'ed and receiving a refund.
