i bought this case after i returned the crappy handspring plastic belt clip....i almost dropped my visor out of that case. this case looks cool and works conveniently. it also has a swivel belt clip, this makes it very comfortable to wear, it will not fall out of this case. the case closes by velcro. a great case

Its a nice basic leather case - great for quick access to your pilot/handspring, but i've just owned this case for about a month and the belt-clip broke off today. I just emailed Targus about getting it repaired...hopefully its not a hassle.

I have been a Visor user for over 2 years now. I started with a Visor Deluxe, but now use a Visor Prism.

I bought my Visor Prism over 9 months ago and got a Targus Leather Case to carry it in. The Targus Leather Case is made with good quality material, and is very well crafted. The stitching is first rate.

I carry the case with me daily, and clip and unclip it from my belt an average of 8-10 times a day. Exercising standard care in clipping and removing the case, I have had no problem with the clip.

I normally unclip the case from my belt during long drives. But during short drives, I do not unclip the case from my belt. The case has a swivel type clip which allows me to swivel the case away from the seat belt during short drives.

Being made from leather, the case invariably gets scratched and pinched during regular use. But its wearing out very nicely, and with due care, I am sure that this case will last me for quite some time. I intend to keep it for as long as I can.

The case provides very good protection, specially at its corners. I credit the case of saving my Visor Prism from severe damage on at least 2 occasions when I dropped my Visor Prism to concrete. On both occasions, I had a barcode laser scanner module on my Prism - and this too survived with nary a scratch.

I bought the case from Amazon and am delighted that it is now available at a considerably reduced price. For this reason, I have bought 2 more of this case. I will be giving one of these to my wife, and will be giving the other to my brother.

I've owned three belt cases so far. First I bought the palm brand belt case for my palm IIIxe. It broke, so I bought another one just like it. It broke too. Both tore in the stitching. Then I got the one from palmgear.com that clips on sideways. It's very bulky and the clip stretched out to where it won't hold on my belt. This targus case is the forth case I've bought and so far I love it. The clip is strong, watch your finger! The case is slim so it doesn't show through my sportcoat. The rotating clip is a really great idea, because it allows the case to swivel for comfort when sitting. I hope it doesn't break off like a couple of reviewers have said. I don't mind it breaking because I know these cases don't last forever, but I don't want to lose my palm if it falls off somewhere. We'll see. Lifetime warranty is nice too.

I have owned this case for 12 days and the belt clip broke off too. I reached to pull it off my belt and the belt clip broke off. I had to call targus and get a replacement case. It is a very nice looking case and it also fits my Palm IIIc very good. This case shouldn't have broken off this early and I think there must be a problem with these cases if two people had their belt clips break off in less than a month. My recommendation is "buyer beware", it is a very nice case but if you buy this product be careful with the belt clip, I hope your case doesn't break like mine and the other reviewers.

Well I shipped the broken case back to Targus and was sent a brand new one. This one has lasted me almost a year.I think the problem with them is that the belt clip is so tight that if it is stretched excessively for a thick belt, it loosens the clip causing it to break. I switched to a slightly thinner belt and have enjoyed it eversince.

I was very pleased when I opened the package and found the case was more attractive then the picture represents. I didn't want a real bulky case and this is perfect. The inside lining is a nice touch to protecting my Visor. I've had no problem with the clip thusfar (1month of regular use). I recommend it!

I've had this case for about 3 months. So far it's great, i use the swivel clip at least 5 day's a week. I also like it because your pda is fully enclosed...

This case is beautifully made. It's swivel handle seems like a neat idea.

BUT all of that is far overshadowed for me because I can not rely on it staying on my belt when I wear it. Worse, especially when wearing a sport coat, etc., it sometimes falls off my belt *unnoticeably*, so that my Palm 3xe (and my data!) can very easily be lost. This has happened three times -- all within my house, thankfully. I cannot afford the risk of losing data by wearing the case outside my home. (I will not keep replacing the Palm, especially when Palm keeps making its upgrades incompatible with prior versions. Of course, this last is a Palm problem, not a Targus one.)

I will buy a new case.

A PDA case needs to have a secure belt *loop*, not merely a clip -- especially a clip like this one which does not have a security 'lip' at the bottom of the clip to make detachment from the belt far less likely.

I really like this case. It is sturdy, fits the handheld and pivots. The only drawback is no color choice. I would rather have had black.

It's as good as everyone else has said it is. It's big, because the III and Visors are big, so you'll look like a geek. But, you already made that decision when you bought your Visor or Palm III to save money.

Don't wait (like me) to get this until you've already dropped and dented your PDA....
